BIOGRAPHY

Mario González is a Mexican journalist who had a long career in print, radio, and television, including with the Inter Press Service news agency and Televisa, before he joined CNN’s Spanish-language service CNN en Español, which is based in Mexico City, in 2007. He currently works on several CNN programs, including CNN México Perspectivas, Cruzando Fronteras, and México Opina. Mr. González holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM) in Mexico City.
