Khin Maung Win (Khin) is the chairman and managing director of Myan Shwe Pyi Group (MSP Group) in Yangon, Myanmar. Khin joined the Singapore-based heavy equipment company Soon Douglas in 1991 and served in various positions in their Singapore and Indonesian operations. In 2005, Khin founded a new construction company, Myan Shwe Pyi Limited (MSP), and expanded the business to become one of the largest aggregate suppliers for infrastructure projects in Myanmar. In 2011, MSP became the exclusive dealer for Caterpillar in Myanmar. MSP’s Caterpillar business now supports a wide range of industries, including electric power generation, oil and gas, mining, construction, and agriculture.
Khin Maung Win attended Medical University in Yangon and left in 1988 when Myanmar suspended all university education. He completed the Executive Leadership Program “Digging Deep,” which was organized by Caterpillar and Stanford University. Khin is also vice president of the Myanmar Cycling Federation.
